THE MUSEUMS OF MADRID

The world capital of art, Madrid would not be the same without its museums. Those from Madrid boast having some of the most prestigious art galleries in the world.

It is worth mentioning the Paseo del Arte (Paseo del Prado), where in a little more than a kilometre the magical list comes together: the Prado Museum, the Reina Sofía and the Thyssen–Bornemisza Museums.

They are the best museums but not the only ones. There are many more like the Sorolla Museum, the Lázaro Galdiano Museum, the National Archaeological Museum with its Egyptian, Greek, Roman, Iberian and Visigoth art, the Cerralbo Museum, the América Museum or the CaixaForum Museum Madrid, which is also dedicated to creativity, to mention just a few.
